Big Wednesday Prize As Yet Unclaimed

Big Wednesday Prize As Yet Unclaimed

A massive Big Wednesday First Division prize of $2.6 million in cash and luxury prizes has yet to be claimed in Gore and local Big Wednesday players should check and double-check their tickets for the chance to claim this life-changing amount of money, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket, bought in United Video in Gore, who matched all six numbers and the correct coin toss of Tails in the Big Wednesday draw on Wednesday 17 October.

"With all the publicity in a small town, we thought that someone might have come forward by now. But it may be that they are letting the impact of such a big win sink in," said Mr McLeay.

"The Big Wednesday ultimate lifestyle awaits someone in Gore and we'd love to unite them with their $2 million in cash along with their luxury prizes of an Aston Martin Vantage, an Audi Q7 and an American Express Platinum card loaded with $250,000 says Mr McLeay.

"Someone out there in Southland is literally sitting on a fortune! We have our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward soon to claim their win," says Mr McLeay.

Mr McLeay's advice for the big winners is to write their name and details on the back of their tickets, confirming their ownership, and then get in touch with NZ Lotteries Wellington office on 04 802 7000.

"We'd love to host them in Wellington to collect their cash and prizes and ask everyone in the area who bought a Big Wednesday ticket to get their tickets checked," adds Mr McLeay.
