Kamahl To Perform Concerts Across NZ

Kamahl, a big voice on the New Zealand music scene in the 70's and 80's has returned to kick-off a national concert tour.

Kamahl will perform another twelve concerts across New Zealand in the coming fortnight.

His opening concerts in Auckland received a standing ovation, with hundreds of fans queuing after the show to meet their idol.

Many concert goers have followed Kamahl's career for the past 40 years, his 80 Gold & Platinum records, some 50 albums released & number one hits around the world.

The charismatic performer has a career that has outlasted that of many seasoned performers. In New Zealand, The Boy from Dundee, recorded with The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, was a number one hit & Kamahl was awarded Song of the Year.

Kamahl has performed for millions of people around the world including appearances at Carnegie Hall, the London Palladium, the Sydney Opera House and top Las Vegas.

His eleven venue tour of New Zealand includes concerts in Auckland, Whangarei, Hamilton, Tauranga, Kerikeri, Dunedin, Timaru, Christchurch, Wellington and Napier.

Always a popular performer and a sensational international recording star , Kamahl will perform a selection of his greatest hits, including The Boy From Dundee, the Elephant Song, All I have To Offer and Amazing Grace.
