Stolen Big Day Out Tickets Will Not Be Honoured

The promoters of the Big Day Out in Auckland have announced that they will not be honouring a significant number of Big Day Out tickets that have been stolen.

The stolen ticket numbers are listed below and can be found online at www.bigdayout.com

As part of the Big Day Out’s anti-scalping initiative for 2008, barcode scanners will be in operation at all Mt Smart stadium gates this year. The concert promoters are warning that patrons with tickets with numbers corresponding to the stolen tickets will be denied entry to the concert.

It is possible that people have these tickets thinking that they have been purchased legally from an authorized outlet. The promoters are therefore urging anyone who has bought tickets in the past four weeks to check their ticket number against the list of stolen tickets.

If you do find yourself in possession of a ticket listed as stolen, you should return it to the place of purchase.
