Turkey Sandwiches and a $750,000 Apartment

Big Wednesday's First Division has jackpotted with a $750,000 apartment added to next week's prize offer, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

"A first division win in our Boxing Day Big Wednesday draw could see someone musing how to spend time in their luxury apartment or where to go with a quarter of a million dollar's worth of travel while working through leftover turkey and trifle.

At the next draw, on 26 December 2007, Big Wednesday players will be in to win:
- $2 million;
- an Aston Martin V8 Vantage;
- an Audi Q7;
- a $250,000 American Express Platinum card;
- $250,000 worth of luxury travel;
- a Rayglass Legend 2500 boat;
- a $500,000 holiday home; and
- a $750,000 apartment

"That would more than make up for the predictable gifts of socks and undies," said Mr McLeay.

While the top prize was not struck tonight, a ticket sold at Johns at Palm Beach Plaza Pharmacy in Mount Maunganui has won Big Wednesday's Second Chance Draw.

Every ticket bought for tonight's draw was entered in the Second Chance draw. The prize won was determined by the H or T selection on the first line of the ticket. As the ticket selection did not match the coin toss, the ticket holder has won $25,00.

The winning serial number is 842-35192589-13xx.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from Johns at Palm Beach Plaza Pharmacy in Papamoa, Mount Maunganui should check it immediately," says Mr McLeay.

Mr McLeay also advises that all players write their name and contact details on the back of their tickets. There were a total of 56,072 winners from tonight's draw.
