"Last year SpongeBob and the Nick crew had such a blast at Mt Maunganui we wanted to come back and play all over again," says Lauren Nola from Nickelodeon. "This year will see Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob and Patrick and other Nick characters hitting the beaches and meeting their fans. There'll be heaps of activities and games so diary that date now to come and play."

Kids will have the chance to meet and greet the Nick stars as well as take part in a range of fun Nick-tivties including sack races, hoola hooping, tug-o-war, wishing wheels, plus many more!

There will also be a chance on the day to win a limited edition Billabong surf kit including a surfboard, wet suit and lesson with a Billabong Surf Pro

Join in the sunshine, surf, slime and silliness when Nick Takes Over Mt Maunganui Beach on Saturday 2nd February and Whangamata Beach on Saturday 16th February from 11am till 2pm each day.
