One very lucky player from Christchurch has won $1 million cash with Lotto First Division tonight, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

The winning ticket was purchased at Belfast New World, Northwood in Christchurch.

Lotto Powerball has jackpotted tonight and will be worth an estimated $8 million in next week's draw.

Strike Four has also jackpotted tonight and will be worth an estimated $200,000 in next week's draw.

Tonight's other big winner was Graham Dennis from Auckland who won a $100,000 shopping spree on Lotto's Winning Wheel.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.

Tonight's Winning Wheel ticket was sold by Valentines Stationers in Hauraki, Auckland. The serial number is 899-56947206-20XX.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of these winning outlets should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries outlet," Mr McLeay says.
