'True Happiness' DVD Revamps 2000 year old secrets

'True Happiness' DVD
Revamps 2000 year old secrets for 21st Century

Former New Zealand Herald Careers editor Steve Hart has produced the True Happiness 70-minute DVD. It features some of the New Zealand's top motivational speakers as well as GPs, a psychologist and spiritual leader.

Research shows that the money doesn't raise people's levels of happiness and that a person's set point of happiness can be raised with positive thinking and looking at life in a more positive way.

"At that point I was working full time at the newspaper I frequently got calls from unhappy people asking for advice about their careers and life in general. I was also speaking with life and career coaches and thought it would be good to bring some of them together in one positive, inspiring and motivational video. It's been a two year project." says Steve.

Among those who feature in the video are leadership coach Clive Littin, founder of the International Self Esteem day and motivational presenter, Janice Davies, Rev. Rhonda Joy Gola, author Talia Mana, motivational guru and author Dr Tom Mulholland, physician and author Dr Robin Kelly.

"The experts featured help people from all walks of life turn their lives around - it is something they do every week and they offer strong practical and sound advice," says Steve. "We all need money but once you have the basics covered, more money doesn't translate into more happiness."

The DVD addresses the key and route to happiness, how and where to find it, how to be happy at work and the old adage: can you buy happiness with money, and more?
It is suitable for anyone - from people looking for advice on how to change their life, to people looking for career advice and who want a happier life.

It has been an interesting journey being involved, says Janice. First creating happiness in my own life, teaching my family and then others through my work. Even the week prior to the filming, which could only be described as one of the most eventful in my life as I had to overcome the numerous challenges that life threw at me and live to tell the story.
