Tiki Taane Returns To Bahama Hut

Tiki Taane Returns To Bahama Hut

Thursday 24th April sees the return of Tiki Taane to Bahama Hut nightclub in Hamilton, the home of his first live show ever following his departure as frontman from Salmonella Dub in January 2007.
The Tiki Live band will consist of Sambora (guitar and samples), Reno (keyboards, MPC and sax), Nicky Research (bass, korg and MPC) and with a special guest appearance by Brad Kora on drums (playing 2 shows only with the Tiki Live band).  Tiki will also be joined on vocals by his father Uekaha Taanetinorau and P Digsss - both of whom feature as guest vocalists on his debut solo album "Past Present Future".

Since it's release in October 2007, the LP has achieved gold sales within the first three months and is now enjoying the journey towards platinum sales. Selected "Album of The Year" by NZ top digital retailers Amplifier, "Past Present Future" is currently creeping its way into NZ homes as a "must-have" album with something for everyone no matter who they are or where they're from.

Tiki Live's Hamilton show is a stopoff on their way to Wellington to play the Dub and Roots stage at Homegrown on Saturday 26th April (Kora on the Rock Stage), where they will be joined for some tracks by Ngaruawahia kapahaka group Te Pou O Mangatawhiri.

Tickets are available from Bahama Hut, also through holla@tikidub.com
