hunk Andy Ellis strode the catwalk last night topless to
help raise $5000 for Ronald McDonald House charity in
Christchurch.
Ellis modelled clothing by Gas, a store owned by his Crusader team mate Dan Carter.
Also modelling last night were ex-All Black s Corey Flynn and Casey Laulala, Crusaders forward Michael Patterson, Serena and Tu from the What Now tv and Breakfast Tv reporter Jack Tame.
Top New Zealand band Op Shop performed live after the fashion show, event organiser, Maree Harris of MFactor said today.
``Their lead singer Jason Kerrison is a friend of mine and they have offered to perform for free just to help the charity,’’ Harris said.
``The models were a hit. The crowd went wild when Andy walked out with no top on. Everyone loved Op Shop: they had lots of kids up dancing on the catwalk which was really cool.’’
Fashion stores that showed their brands included Gas, Frankie, Three Wise Men, Honour and Obey, Aria, Sergios, Gillian Melhop, Vivacious and Fab.
