Laugh it up, fuzzball!

Comedy Festival is in the HOUSE! We're opening our doors to anyone and everyone who enjoys a good laugh with Comedy Festival 2008.

This week sees our first three shows open and the walls beginning to shake with laughter as we stave off this impending cold weather with some great acts bound to keep you warm.

At 6.30pm on Tuesday night, we have the opening night of Rubber Turkey [http://www.bats.co.nz/plays/08/comedy-festival/rubber-turkey.html]! What happens when the funny guy, the chicken, the clown and the blonde outgrow their stereotypes?

Mrs Peacock are 'Six Feet From the Edge' [http://www.bats.co.nz/plays/08/comedy-festival/mrs-peacock.html] open on Wednesday night at 8pm with an epic comic rock opera. Loosely autobiographical, they are searching to come to terms with stardom and find out what comes next.

Improv Angels [http://www.bats.co.nz/plays/08/comedy-festival/improv-angels.html]grace the BATS stage from Thursday night at 9.30pm with improvised comedy that pokes fun at and celebrates the 'intelligent' genre of heel clad, hair tossing super sleuths.

Get in quick - these shows are on til Saturday 26 April, and there'll be a whole new host of Comedy Festival shows on at BATS next week to look forward to!
