Impostors To Help Rid Wellington Of Superhero Menace

After yet another unprovoked act of Heroism on the streets of Wellington, local security consultancy practice The Impostors is offering to help the citizens of Wellington better understand the superhero menace.

The group’s seminar, “Heroes and Heroin”, aims to help the public identify heroes, focus on the weaknesses of this scourge and defend themselves from attack.

Realizing that most Wellingtonians have no idea how to deal with these so-called “heroes”, Impostors senior consultant David Cormack has assembled a group of experts to help promote safety in the community.

“I keep hearing the same story over and over again. Members of the public will be out minding their own business then suddenly BAM! ZING! KAPOW! - they’re ruffled up and harassed by ‘heroes’,” says Cormack. “So I’ve put together a group of specialists, foremost in the field of combating this ‘heroic’ threat.”

Joining Cormack for the seminar series are hero experts TJ McDonald and Alex Hawley, who have both been peddling their advice on the Wellington Comedy circuit for many years. McDonald and Hawley are award winning comedians with an understanding of heroes surpassed only by the fourth member of the Impostors, Tom Williams.

“Tom brings with him a depth of knowledge second to none,” says Cormack. “The guy is a walking encyclopedia of heroic information.”

“This is a serious issue for all. Get along to our seminar before you become a hero’s next victim.”

The Impostors’ seminar, Heroes and Heroin will be held on May 8, 9 and 10 at the New Zealand Film Archive, 84 Taranaki Street Wellington. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for concession and $11 for groups of 10+.

You can book tickets by emailing impostors.bookings[at]gmail.com or by calling 021 0264 9380
