MEDIA RELEASE 10TH June 2008
Top designers reveal exclusive one-off luxury lingerie at Fantasia
Thirteen of the country’s most loved designers, including, Huffer, Zambesi, Lola by Rachel Hunter and Yvonne Bennetti will take part in Fantasia; an exclusive charity lingerie show which will be held on the 25th of June at the Town Hall, Auckland to raise funds for the KidsCan Charitable Trust. The event is similar in format to the famous Victoria’s Secret show held in the USA with an elaborately themed cat walk show and a line-up of fantastic entertainment.
Brooke Howard-Smith will be MC for the evening and the unique event promises to be a magical experience for all, whilst raising much needed funds for KidsCan’s programmes which benefit disadvantaged Kiwi kids.
KidsCan is renowned for doing things differently, so guests can expect to have a fantastic time while supporting a good cause. “This event will deliver on this promise in so many unexpected ways. As well as the wonderful designers creating exclusive pieces we’ll have live music from the likes of P-MONEY, PNC, General Lee, Labretta Suede and performances from the Candy Lane dancers” explains founder and GM of KidsCan, Julie Helson.
In addition to the designer selection, favorite lingerie brands we know and love including Bendon, Triumph, James & August, Zabu, Caprice and The Underwear Club will showcase their latest ranges for guests. General Access tickets are a great option for those wanting a world class entertainment experience at an affordable price and include entry to the exclusive Fantasia after party at Opium Bar.
