November is a mighty mad month for Nickelodeon as we welcome in summer with a whopping THREE brand new shows, lots of new episodes of all your old favourites, plus the launch of Nickelodeon’s Big Green Help!


NEW SHOWS:

THE MIGHTY B! – Brand New Show, NZ PREMIERE! – Wednesdays @ 4.30pm from 26th November, with repeats Sundays at 11am
Bessie Higgenbottom is the world’s most ambitious and loveably unhinged 9 ¾-year-old member of the Honeybee troop for girls. She’s got a can-do attitude, a great big heart and unwavering optimism. Bessie believes that when she earns all her Bee badges she will become the superhero known as The Mighty B! Watch out world… you’re about to be stung by the hilarity and adventure of The Mighty B! exclusively on Nickelodeon from Wednesday 26th November at 4.30pm.

MAKING FIENDS – Brand New Show, NZ PREMIERE! – Weekdays @ 4.15pm from 3rd November
Charlotte and Vendetta are classmates in school in the town of Clamburg – but that’s about all they have in common! Charlotte loves her new best friend, Vendetta. Vendetta prefers devising new ways to destroy Charlotte. With her vicious band of homemade fiends, Vendetta works tirelessly to rid Clamburg of the bright and shiny threat of Charlotte - however Charlotte doesn’t seem to notice, and happily turns each new fiend into a friend. Check it out on Nickelodeon weekdays at 4.15pm from Monday 3rd November.


NEW EPISODES:

iCARLY – Brand New Episodes! – Tuesdays @ 5pm from 18th November
Carly Shay is a 13-year-old girl whose life is fairly normal until she and her friends, Sam and Freddie, create a homemade Web show, which they call iCarly. In these new episodes Carly gets an opportunity to interview for an elite private school, but Sam and Freddie don't want her to go, and they might have to make sure she doesn't… Join the iCarly gang as they learn to balance the problems of everyday kid life with their newfound fame AND still manage to put on a great show every week.

Nickelodeon's Big Green Help is all about helping kids find simple, positive ways to help protect the Earth every day. There are a lot of confusing messages out there about why the environment needs our help, but one thing is clear: KIDS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! We’ll have some on-air messages and a great website launching specifically to tackle this issue where kids can check out our easy and fun tips on how they can help the planet – that’s right, the whole planet. Read up on all those big words that are affecting the environment in our glossary and then take the Big Green Quiz to see just how green you are! The Big Green Help is not boring school science. The Big Green Help is about saving the world today.

TOOT & PUDDLE – Brand New Show, exclusive NZ PREMIERE! – Weekdays at 1.55pm from 24th November
Toot & Puddle is an exciting new preschool series that will begin to put the world into context for young viewers by follows the adventures of two fun-loving, inquisitive but very different best friends. Toot is a young pig-on-the-go, a globe-trotting adventurer. He loves to explore and is constantly on the lookout for any new challenge or untried experience. Puddle is the backyard explorer who, although loving to travel, takes even greater pleasure in finding excitement closer to home. When travelling to locations such as Tibet, Paris or Belize the piggy pals will meet local characters and be exposed to native customs that are endemic to each particular setting. The best friends’ cosy home in Woodcock Pocket is the warm and woodsy setting for many of Toot and Puddle’s backyard adventures, including playing in the mud! Tune in weekdays at 1.55pm from 24th November to join Toot and puddle in their adventures, both at home and afar, and pique your child’s natural curiosity about the world around them

THE MAGIC ROUNDABOUT – Brand New Episodes! – Weekdays at 12.20pm from 3rd November
The Magic Roundabout came to a small village many years ago, accompanied by mischievous magician Zebedee, who spends his time playing good-natured tricks on the villagers. In this new series Florence has organises a treasure hunt for all of her friends, Dougal hears a strange howling sound and is inspired to abandon his pampered-pooch lifestyle and respond to this call of the wild and Ermintrude decides to ‘borrow’ Mr Grimsdale’s motorbike – which she hasn’t quite mastered the art of riding! Do not miss the chance to climb on The Magic Roundabout with Dougal and his friends and enjoy their fun and adventures in this enchanting series for pre-schoolers, screening weekdays at 12.20pm.

THE BACKYARDIGANS – Brand New Episodes! – Weekdays at 10.20am from 3rd November
The lovable characters from The Backyardigans inspire children to sing and dance along, and to stretch their imaginations as they climb up mountains, slide down glaciers, and sail across oceans, and this brand new series is no exception. Watch as Ping Pong Bandit Pablo comes to town with his deadly ping-pong moves, Austin and Uniqua become museum art pieces that come alive at night and the team becomes intergalactic garbage collectors who are repeatedly tricked by fearsome Moosian aliens! Tune in to The Backyardigans adventures weekdays at 10.20am from Monday 3rd November.


COMING SOON

JUST JORDAN – Brand New Show! – Coming to Nickelodeon in December
Coming to Nick New Zealand for the first time is Just Jordan. A show about a regular kid from Arkansas who suffers a recent transplant to Los Angeles. He’s juggling a new school, working in the family diner with his grandfather and trying to regulate a new crew of unpredictable friends

HA HA HOLIDAYS – Holiday programming!
There’ll be some sweet Christmas holiday programming in our Ha Ha Holiday block, including a Drake & Josh Christmas premiere movie and a brand new Fairly OddParents episode, Merry Wishmas!
