The Canon ‘Big Pink Pic’
Thousands of kiwis turned pink on Saturday 11th October 2008 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and many of those highlighted their support by forming the outline of the pink Breast Cancer Ribbon at Auckland Domain.
Canon New Zealand captured the “Big Pink Pic” with A List photographer Norrie Montgomery hoisted over 50 feet into the air to take the great shot.
Canon continued to capture the memory on the ground with a photo booth where participants were able to have a photograph taken on an IXUS 80 IS and printed instantly on the SELPHY printer for a gold coin, donated directly to The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF)
With close to 1000 people in pink turning out for the Canon ‘Big Pink Pic’ this could potentially be the biggest pink ribbon in New Zealand.
