Making A Merry Christmas For Those In Need
ChildFund partners with Madder and Rouge Interiors to make a Merry Christmas for those in need around the world
Interiors retailer Madder and Rouge is partnering with ChildFund New Zealand this Christmas to give its customers a warm feeling that will last well beyond the festive season.
Customers who spend $175 or more in either their Auckland or Wellington stores between now and Christmas will get to select a ChildFund ‘Gift That Grows’ which will benefit some of the poorest children and families in developing nations around the world.
Madder and Rouge customers will be able to make their selection from a range of unique and truly life changing gifts such as a wooden hoe to help a farmer raise crops through to a pair of breeding goats to start a herd – the bigger their spend, the bigger the gift to those in need.
Madder and Rouge is a New Zealand owned and operated interiors store that specialises in importing high end furniture, fabric and homewares from France and beyond. Owner Darren Mangelsdorf, says rewarding customers with Gifts That Grow this Christmas is a way of saying thank you to their customers. “It's our way of giving back and helping children living in poverty – and offering our customers the experience of spreading Christmas goodwill.”
National Director of ChildFund, Paul Brown says the partnership with Madder and Rouge provides its customers with a unique avenue to contribute to a worthy cause at a time when many people may not have as much disposable income they might like to spend on charitable donations. “We’re delighted that Madder and Rouge are entering into the true meaning of Christmas by giving hope and practical support to impoverished families around the world.”
