Summer Extravaganza Holiday Programme 2009

The team at Manukau Leisure Services Ltd has put together an exciting range of fun activities to keep youngsters entertained for the remainder of the summer holidays.

Ten pin bowling, mini-golf, wheels day, movies, arts, crafts and swimming, as well as visits to the Sky Tower, Rangitoto and a sun, sand and sea day at Long Bay are just a few of the school holiday activities available for 5 to 14-year-olds at recreation centres across the city until 30 January.

Manukau on the Move’s Team Extreme programme has a host of outdoor, action-packed pursuits for 12 to 16-year-olds from 19 to 23 January. From kayaking to sailing and a Karamatura Valley visit, there is something to appeal to even the most energetic teen.
