Iron Maiden Moves Indoors In Chch, Now On 22 Feb

Iron Maiden ‘Somewhere Back In Time World Tour’ Moves Indoors In Christchurch Now On Sunday 22 February 2009

Soon to fly in on their customised Boeing 757 ``Ed Force One’’ with all their crew and equipment, Iron Maiden is set to take to New Zealand by storm next month with their spectacular ‘Somewhere Back in Time World Tour’ playing shows in Auckland and Christchurch.

However, due to logistical reasons, the Christchurch Iron Maiden concert is being moved indoors to the Westpac Arena. The date of the show has also changed to Sunday 22 February. As a result of the move there will be only be a limited number of new tickets available for this show and these will go on sale this Saturday 24th January through Ticketek.

We apologise for any inconvenience to fans by a change of date but hope this will be more than compensated for by fans being able to see the band close up in an arena setting in which the show will look even more spectacular.

And of course fans should be assured that the show will still include all of the Maiden’s amazing production and stage set up as well as lots of pyro!

Tickets for the standing general admission areas will be valid for the new date and do not need to be exchanged. Reserved seating tickets will need to be exchanged for a new ticket. Ticket holders will be contacted by Ticketek.

The Auckland concert will proceed as scheduled on Friday 20 February. A brand new release of $40 ‘Maiden Sanctuary’ tickets have just gone on sale so fans should book now to avoid disappointment!
