“As GSNZ continues its journey towards a modern, dynamic organisation, I look forward to continuing the work directly with clubs and GSNZ membership whom are who are as passionate about foundation skills and competitive gymsports as I am,” she said.
“Our goal is to give children more opportunities through clubs to develop and improve their movement skills so they can get the most out of whatever activities they choose to do. We want to increase the awareness of how the brain and body develops so that the value of what gymsports can give to children is common knowledge amongst the parents of New Zealand.” “We also want to encourage children to participate in gymsports to experience the benefits of learning to move well because it is all about getting the most out of life.” Ends About GymSports New Zealand GymSports New Zealand (GSNZ) is the National Sporting Organisation (NSO) responsible for the development and governance of five sports; aerobics, women’s and men’s artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline.
