Wanaka Reveals its Gallic Charm
Day 5 - Wanaka Reveals its Gallic Charm
A huge
thank you to everyone who embraced the French for a day
concept in celebration of the world premiere of the
fabulous new Dave Armstrong play 'Le Sud'. The audience just
loved the witty and satirical new play and the audience got
into the spirit with French dress up.
Other highlights
were Christina Lamb talking in the Infinity Crystal Palace
as part of the Aspiring Conversations series. She amazed the
audience with her stories of courage in the battlefields and
first hand point of view on the business of war
reporting.
Aspiring Conversations continues today with two
fascinating talks from former Prime Minister Jim Bolger at
1.30pm and George Fergusson at 3pm. Both in the Infinity
Crystal Palace. Because of the unprecedented demand for
tickets on previous days: the Festival has decided to put
both these talks on for free for all of those who missed
out, and to say thank you to the community for their amazing
support.
