Excitement Mounting For Body Art Awards Show

Excitement is mounting for this year’s Body Art Awards Show to be held at the Bruce Mason Centre, Takapuna, North Shore City on Saturday 25 July at 4pm (dress rehearsal) and 7.30pm. The show's theme of ‘Fantasia Asia’ will inspire us all to create artistry never seen before in a Body Art Awards Show.

All interested artists who would like to be part of this years amazing show should complete the registration form well before the closing day (Friday 26 June 2009). It is so easy to register this year:
Refer to the official website www.bodyartawards.co.nz
Click on the ‘Artists’ icon and ‘Entry Information’
Be sure to read the NZBAA Guidelines and then download and print the NZBAA Primary Registration Form 2009. Post the completed form to NZBAA with all the required documentation and payment. (Please note: You are NOT required to complete the Model Registration Form 2009).

As stated on the 'Category Guidelines' you are permitted one assistant and you may supply your own model, however models not previously involved in the Body Art Awards show maybe required to attend an informal audition.
If you require NZBAA to provide a model please be sure to indicate this on the 'Primary Registration Form 2009'. Artists will be advised by Friday 3 July if their entry has been successful. Each category is restricted to a maximum of ten contestants and a minimum of five.

Note: Although the show is themed ‘Fantasia Asia’ not all categories will have Asian themed music. Be sure to read the NZBAA Guidelines for a full explanation. Excerpts of the music to be used in each category are now available on the NZ Body Art Awards website (Artists > Category Music).
