Dr. Colossus To Release Ep At Art Gallery
Following their hugely successful show at the Auckland Festival and a sell-out appearance at the Auckland Fringe, Dr Colossus are releasing their highly anticipated debut EP.
Recorded at Roundhead late last year at the personal invitation of Neil Finn, the EP is finally ready for the listening public.
Dr Colossus have teamed up with central Auckland art collective w.art for the release and will be performing their original music as well as a selection from their Danny Elfman show featuring a live blue screen collaboration with Scott Satherley.
The show will also include recent photographs by Hans Hammond and Alex Taylor will be presenting new works including “Four Abstracts” for flute, clarinet, viola, cello and horn.
This will all be taking place at the w.art space on the corner of Cross Street and Mercury Lane in Central Auckland on Thursday the 25th of June. Doors are at 7pm, with Alex Taylor performing with his ensemble at 8pm and Dr Colossus at 9pm.
Copies of the EP will be available for purchase as well as photographs by Hans Hammond, with entry by Koha.
