New Books by Hamilton Authors
New Books by Hamilton Authors
Three new books by two Hamilton authors are being launched today (Wednesday).
Two are translations from ancient cultures by Keith Hill. The Bhagavad Gita is a classical text from about 26-30 centuries ago, and contains the essential messages of Hinduism concerning existence and after-death survival, rendered in poetic form. Walking without Feet is a translation of poetry by Mirabai and Kabir, mystics from 15th Century India, and now revered as saints.
The third book, Guided Healing by Peter Calvert, offers guidance to would-be healers in becoming a path for healing energy from the spiritual realm. It includes ways of contacting spiritual guides and enhancing energy flow during healing. Also covered is the relationship between the spiritual and physical realms and the use of meditation.
These three books come at a time of increasing interest in spirituality, life after death and contact with spiritual realms. The linkages between them allow comparisons across millennia, cultures and religions, and suggest ways of “tuning in” to the spiritual love underlying all existence.
The launch takes place at Browsers Books, Victoria St, at 7pm and the authors will be present.
