Live Interactive Cinema Comes To Skycity Cinemas
Children’s entertainment has taken on a whole new dimension at SKYCITY Cinemas, and it’s set to take New Zealand by storm. LICKs 5D – LIVE INTERACTIVE CINEMA FOR KIDS, the brainchild of LICKs Productions, is an incredible cross-platform entertainment experience, bringing together stage, screen and audience… and it’s like nothing audiences have ever experienced before.
The LICKs 5D concept launches a totally new form of entertainment within SKYCITY’s digital cinema, already receiving widespread praise and interest both overseas. Combining 3D animation and digital cinema technology, live stage performance (fourth dimension) and audience interaction with stage and screen (fifth dimension), cast and characters come to life right before your eyes.
LICKs 5D Productions will hold an exclusive performance of its premiere show “Hello Music Land” at SKYCITY Cinemas St Lukes, with a limited season 20-23 August, 2009.
“Hello Music Land is great entertainment for littlies and the young at heart…” says Jane Hastings, General Manager of SKYCITY Cinemas. “Alternative content compliments our core cinema entertainment experience and we are delighted to be partnering with LICKs Productions.
LICKs 5D “Hello Music Land” premiered in Singapore and Melbourne in 2006 and has been touring since, receiving rave reviews from audiences, sponsors, educators and media.
