Hot Wins for Lotto Players

It may be the middle of winter, but Lotto has given away some hot prizes tonight, with one player winning a huge $1,028,447 with Lotto’s First Division, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Todd McLeay. The ticket was sold at Windsor Park Superette & Lotto in North Shore City, Auckland.

Lotto’s Hot 100 promotion was also drawn tonight, giving away $3 million in 100 extra prizes of cash, cars, shopping sprees and travel packages.  The top 15 prizes of $100,000 cash, with winning voucher numbers, were sold at the following stores:

All Lotto players who purchased a Triple Dip between Sunday 12 July, and 7pm, Saturday 25 July 2009 went in the draw to win one of 100 fabulous extra prizes.  Full prize results are available from www.mylotto.co.nz

Lotto Strike was also struck this week by a player who bought a ticket at Hutt City New World winning $209,588.

In addition, Lotto Powerball has also jackpotted this week, and will be worth an estimated $8 million in next Saturday’s draw. 

Tonight’s other big winner was Auckland’s Mike O’Donohue, who spun and won $125,000 on Lotto’s Winning Wheel.  Mike was joined at the draw by his wife June and daughter Crystal.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.

Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Botany Downs Lotto in Manukau. The serial number is 426-016530488-20XX.

“Anyone who bought a ticket at these retailers should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it as soon as possible at any NZ Lotteries’ outlet."
