The Marae makeover show with the biggest heart, the hardest workers, and the proudest whanau and friends. Tonight: Aroha Hathaway and the crew make their way to Nga Mokai Papakainga, at Ohakune. Reinforcements from the army and across the ditch are called on as Marae DIY attempts their most ambitious makeover yet.


FAST FOOD NATION (SUNDAY FEATURE) – Sunday October 18 at 9.00 PM


Don Anderson’s job is to promote a hamburger chain. When he learns that a researcher has found fecal matter in the meat, he pays a visit to the abbatoir where the meat came from. Don's tour is to selected areas of the business, but whistleblowers alert him to the real horrors of the operation. Directed by Richard Linklater. Stars Bruce Willis, Ethan Hawke and Avril Lavigne.


AUNTY MOVES IN – Monday October 19 at 9.00 PM


Big-hearted ‘aunties’ are called on to help families through the rocky terrain of modern life, from money woes to health and love troubles. Featuring Amiria Reriti, Ata Te Kanawa and a bevy of special guest aunties. Tonight: Aunty’s Amiria and Ata spend time with the Hawke whanau, which has been struggling with generational alcohol abuse.


ALISON’S BABY (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) – Tuesday October 20 at 8.30 PM


Alison Lapper is a disabled artist based in Brighton, born with no arms and a short body. Alison is a mouth-painter, but also uses other media, including photography, digital imaging and installation to explore her subject - which is often herself and the ways in which she is viewed by others. The documentary, which is both down-to-earth and inspiring, follows Alison's unfolding life before, during and after the birth of her son Parys, a healthy and strong baby.

THE FLIGHT OF TE HOOKIOI (NZ DOCO) – Wednesday October 21 at 8.30 PM


Tearepa Kahi retraces the footsteps of two Tainui chiefs who in the 19th Century travelled to Austria at the invitation of the emperor, where they were the toast of high society.
