Christmas Cheer Hits High Note in Lower Hutt

Lower Hutt’s Town Hall will be filled with song on Saturday 12 December as David Dell’s Take Note Singers fill the auditorium with Christmas cheer.


The Hutt City Christmas Concert is a wonderful way to prepare for Christmas with the 190-strong choir performing popular sing-a-long carols The concert is free, although a donation is appreciated and everyone is welcome to attend.


David Dell’s Take Note Singers was established in 2001 and features singers drawn around the Wellington region, with current singers ranging from 10 years to over 80.


Hutt City Mayor David Ogden extends a special invitation to all members of the community.


“Christmas is a great time for residents to come together and support their local community by singing along with Christmas carols and enjoying the festival spirit”.


The concert has been designed especially to appeal to senior citizens and those with younger families.


The Hutt City Christmas Concert starts at 2pm and finishes at 3.15pm and is a collaborative event between Hutt City Council and David Dell’s Take Note Singers.
