If you thought your family was bad – wait till you meet the Bluths! Chronicling the riches to rags story of George Bluth Snr, his wife Lucille, their children and grandchildren, Arrested Development is the story of a wealthy family who lost everything and the one son who had no choice but to keep them all together. Over the course of it’s 3 seasons Arrested Development was nominated for 38 awards and took home 22 including a golden globe for best actor in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy for Jason Bateman and EMMY’s for outstanding comedy series, outstanding directing of a comedy series and outstanding writing for a comedy series. Credited for revitalising the career of Jason Bateman and introducing the world to Michael Cera and Ali Shawkat, Arrested Development is a true cult favourite made even more popular by the announcement of the Arrested Development film currently in production. Go on, get arrested!
3rd ROCK FROM THE SUN

Four aliens are dispatched to the least important planet in the solar system – Earth (the third rock from the sun). Taking human form to blend in amongst us, Dick, Sally, Tommy & Harry quickly find earthlings are not as simple as they first assumed. Starring John Lithgow (who was nominated for an EMMY every year the show was on air) as well as Kirsten Johnston, Joseph Gordon – Levitt, French Stewart and Jane Curtin, 3rd Rock was on the air for 6 years and achieved an astounding 31 Emmy Award nominations - quite a feat on any planet! No matter what planet you’re from – 3rd Rock from the Sun is well worth a revisit.

A new season of side splitting comedy as teams of comedians improvise scenes on the spot in front of a live studio audience who help provide them with the basic info for that scene. Confused? Well sometimes so are they! Hosted by Clive Anderson keep an eye out for Greg Proops, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles amongst the performers who give a big “Yes lets!” to these theatresport like games.

Comedy Central goes back to the very beginning AND gives us Entourage every day of the week! Join up and coming actor Vince Chase as he negotiates the rocky road of Hollywood stardom with his entourage of buddies there to watch his back. Loosely based on Mark Walberg’s early career (he is executive producer of the show), Entourage tackles the themes of male friendship and the pitfalls of success the LA in the same way Sex in the City tackled shoes, sex and girlfriends in NYC. Celebrities have been clamoring to guest star in Entourage – keep an eye out for Jimmy Kimmel, Val Kilmer, Sarah Silverman, Gary Busey Larry David and Scarlett Johansson in the first season!

Forget the Peter Pan Complex, embrace the Tuesday Complex on Comedy Central! Lie back on the couch every Tuesday night from 8.30 and let us do the analysing for you. Allow yourself the pleasure of laughing at other people’s pain and dysfunction. First up is everyone’s favourite Riches to Rags story – Arrested Development – families don’t really get more dysfunctional than the Bluths! And we’re putting 2 episodes back to back! After that double Seinfeld as Jason Alexander (that’s the neurotic George Costanza on the show) counts down his fave Seinfeld episodes.
