Dicko Loses 15 Kilos and Reaches His Goal Weight

Dicko Loses 15 Kilos and Reaches His Goal Weight

Television personality Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson has well and truly battled the bulge with a 15 kilo weight loss on Jenny Craig’s Jen4Men and he’s feeling sexier than ever, even his wife says so!

“I feel like a new man, I never thought it would be possible to feel this good at my age. I have officially fought off the middle age syndrome and been given a whole new lease of life, it feels great” said Dicko. “I have more energy, my wife fancies me again and my daughters are proud of me – it really doesn’t get much better than that does it?”

Ultimately, Dicko joined Jen4Men because he wanted to learn the skills to lose weight and keep it off. “I needed to learn how to lose weight – I couldn’t do it on my own, even when I quit drinking I didn’t drop one kilo. Dicko claims “It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, even my mates want to sign up now.” Gone are the days when Dicko felt embarrassed walking down the beach with his top off and his daughters refused to sit next to him on the sand.

Dicko’s golf handicap has almost halved to 24 since the kilos started to dropping off and he can tie his shoe laces without feeling out of breath. He has now set his sights on running a half marathon, something he would have never imagined five months ago.

Dicko has lost one kilo on average each week since starting the Jen4Men weight loss program in September and has kept on track throughout the entire program. Dicko now weighs a total of 89 kilos, a weight he hasn’t been since his mid 20’s. Dicko will be on the Jen4Men maintenance program to ensure he continues to sustain his goal weight.

Dicko continues, “If I could offer one piece of advice to all those men out there, it would be to measure the size of your gut, if it’s over 94cms you should think about making steps to lose it – size does matter!”

Amy Smith, Managing Director of Jenny Craig New Zealand and Australia, comments “I feel remarkably proud of Dicko for embarking on this journey and achieving his goal weight. He’s been a great inspiration to fellow Kiwi males and we’ve seen a significant amount of men signing up on the program since Dicko’s success.

The challenge is always maintaining the weight, but Dicko is so committed to sticking to his new dieting regime that I have no doubt that he can do it.”

Jenny Craig has over 25 years experience in helping men lose weight. Jen4Men (www.jen4men.co.nz) is tailored specifically for men, providing male facts, Q&A’s and male testimonials.
