Dunedin Student Wins Free Rent and a Cleaner for a Year Thanks to Kiwibank
Otago student Abbey Hayden is today possibly the luckiest person in Dunedin.
As the winner of Kiwi Connector’s huge ‘Deck Out Your Flat’ competition, Abbey and her flatmates Emma and Rosie not only won a Sony Vaio Series Notebook, a Sony Eco Bravia 40” LCD TV and a copy of DJ Hero, but as a Kiwibank Tertiary Pack customer she also received a prize upgrade to get her rent paid for a year PLUS a cleaner for the year.
“I was stoked! We couldn’t believe it, we just screamed for a while when we found out - then started ringing everyone we knew!” says the Bachelor of Commerce student now in her 3rd year at Otago University.
With so much at stake over 2,000 teams took part in the
competition.
