Ole Bouman Director of Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI)
Presents Architecture of Consequence in association with SCAPE 2010
Ole Bouman, Director of the Netherlands
Architecture Institute (NAI), will discuss the need for
architecture to respond to today's pressing social concerns.
He challenges urban designers to come up with progressive
proposals and ideas, aimed at accomplishing the transition
from a reactive to a proactive design practice.
Repositioning the discipline of architecture requires an
international shift and concerted efforts to shape concrete
design propositions that underline the importance of this
design approach in spatial planning
practice.
