KAITANGATA TWITCH – Sunday June 20 at 7.00 PM
Action, adventure, magic and CGI combine in this award-winning series about a 13 year old girl, her family, the place they live and the incredible events that will shake them all. Based on a novel by Margaret Mahy. Tonight: Cardwell and Grace grow closer, and the developer reveals his plans to move back to the bay permanently. Meredith tries to go too far too quickly, and is almost swallowed up in her vision.

1 NITE (SUNDAY FEATURE) - Sunday June 20 at 8.30 PM
Set in Auckland’s K’ Rd, 1 Nite follows a disparate group of locals from dusk to dawn. Among them are a young Sikh taxidriver, a pair of old mates who meet up for a drink and to shoot some pool, and a prostitute with a possessive boyfriend – and none of them what they appear to be. Amarbir Singh debuts as director, Bruce Hopkins, Jon Brazier, Lauren Jackson and Rajiv Varma star.

TOKU REO (LANGUAGE LEARNING) – Monday June 21 at 7.00 PM
Series premiere! Maori language for the new millennium. Toku Reo returns for a second series to teach te reo to beginners, in the comfort of their own homes. Designed by language learning expert Professor John Moorfield.

MANLY NIGHT FOOTBALL – Monday June 21 at 9.30 PM
Monday night is Manly night on Maori Television! New Zealand’s second-favourite NRL team has a new free-to-air home in 2010. Tonight: Sea Eagles v Rabbitohs.

HIGHWAY IN MY VEINS: TRUCKERS IN INDIA (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) – Tuesday June 22 at 8.30 PM
To break the monotony, frustration and loneliness of the road, many truck drivers in India have casual relationships with women in the truck stops and villages along their routes. This documentary illustrates the life of these truckers and their growing vulnerability to AIDS. Communities along the most frequented routes have turned sex work into a flourishing industry, but use of condoms is rare. It is estimated that more than three hundred thousand truckers in India are infected with AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.

THE CIRCUIT – Tuesday June 22 at 9.30 PM
Award-winning Australian series about a city lawyer with indigenous roots, who takes a post on the Kimberley Circuit Court. Tonight: Now back in the chair, Magistrate Peter Lockhart’s standing is under threat when he is discovered helping disgraced elder Harry Pope, and a confrontation with Mick results in a surprising invitation for Drew.

NZ MAORI – KOTAHI RAU TAU – Wednesday June 23 at 8.30 PM
Free-to-air rugby coverage (delayed) from the New Zealand Maori Centenary Series. Tonight: New Zealand Maori v England from McLean Park, Napier.

HUNTING AOTEAROA – Thursday June 24 at 9.30 PM
Must-see viewing for hunting enthusiasts, as good keen man Howie Morrison Jnr checks out the most exciting hunting action from around the country. Tonight: It's the Tokomaru Bay Te Puka Hunting Competition, and Howie joins the local kids for a night hunt of possum, rabbit and eel.

FOX MEMORIAL SHIELD – Saturday June 26 at 2.00 PM
Tune in for delayed coverage each week as Auckland’s premiere rugby league teams battle for the Fox Memorial Shield. Today: Papakura v Glenora.

THE STRENGTH OF WATER (SATURDAY FEATURE) – Saturday June 26 at 8.30 PM
Ten-year-olds Kimi and Melody are twins who live with their parents and siblings on a farm on the Hokianga coast. Together they deliver eggs around the district, and lavish attention on a favoured hen they've named Aroha, but the arrival in their midst of teenage drifter, Tai, precipitates a terrible accident. Kimi must learn to live apart from Melody, and Tai finds himself the target of hostility from the small community. A New Zealand drama written by Briar Grace-Smith and directed by first-timer Armagan Ballantyne. Well-received in festivals around the world, playing at film festivals including Cannes, Rotterdam, Berlin, Shanghai and Sydney.
