TAB Sets Odds On All Whites Friendly

TAB Sets Odds On All Whites Friendly

The All Whites play their final official warm-up match against fellow World Cup qualifiers Slovenia at 6.45 tomorrow morning NZT.

Following on from their impressive 1-0 win over Serbia last weekend and last minute heartbreak against Australia, coach Ricky Herbert will be delighted with their form heading into the Cup.

Striker Chris Killen is out with a slight hamstring strain but other than that a full strength squad is available. Slovenia who are in Group C in the Cup alongside England & USA are no mugs and qualified virtue of the Euro play-off system, accounting for Russia over two legs, winning the second 1-0 at home.

The TAB has New Zealand as $8 outsiders and is betting live on the match.

For cash bets and people who have existing TAB accounts, every time a bet for $10 or more is placed on the World Cup between 1 June and 12 July, they can go into the draw to win a trip for two to South Africa. If the All Whites make it to the second round of the tournament the winner will also receive $100,000.

And for those who have never had a TAB account, they can sign up for Betcha $20. Open a new TAB account between 1 June and 12 July and receive a $20 for free to bet on any World Cup game.

Bets can be placed in-store or at any time via touchtone, through SKY, over the telephone and even via text message. Thanks to TAB you can even bet on international events like the FWC online from your desk or in the supermarket queue on your mobile phone.

Conditions apply for Betcha $20 and the trip for two to South Africa. See www.tab.co.nz for details.
