SKYCITY’s hottest bar, twentyone, is presenting KillaManRaro with Manuel Bunday and Sunshine Sound System THIS Thursday night 8 July. Entry to the gig is free with entertainment starting at 7pm.

DJ/Guitarist/Producer/AV Assassin and a seasoned vet of the NZ music scene, the KillaMan has toured and performed with a who's who of New Zealand's top artists including Che Fu, King Kapisi, Trinity Roots, Dimmer, Sola Rosa, Anna Coddington, Hollie Smith, Eru Dangerspiel and Opensouls to name but a few! Suffice to say when it comes time to put on a KillaManRaro & Friends Show there's no shortage of uber-talented cats to call upon for collaboration. Keepin it funky, fruity, and fun filled, a ManRaro party rolls in like a tropical breeze to warm up your winter’s night!

Manuel Bundy

NZ king of jazzy, abstract hip-hop, he has been DJing since 1989. He has played just about every club in New Zealand, entertained audiences around the world, and contributed to an impressive catalogue of original recordings. He produces under the name Solephonic for Sugarlicks Records, and is 1/3 of the Turnaround DJs.

Sunshine Sound System

Hailing from the majestic shores of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown; Sunshine Sound System is the irrepressible combination of DJ Downtown Brown, MC KP (aka Killa Puha) and MC Switch. Never the kind to follow the stale cliché’s and posturing of mainstream hip-hop, these soldiers for righteousness consistently strive to bring you nothing but the best party vibes with conscious rhymes over strictly Phat beats. Having played all the top Summer festivals in NZ and abroad, and established themselves as the most in-demand tour-mates for artists such as Tiki Taane and Shapeshifter; best believe these bad-boys know how to rock a crowd!

Free, live music is now on every Thursday night at twentyone (located on level three of the SKYCITY complex). Over the last several months SKYCITY has drawn the crowds to the bar presenting Anna Coddington, Opensouls, Jason Kerrison with T*B*C (The Babysitter’s Club), Pluto, Tiki Tanne and Cornerstone Roots with plenty more top gigs in the pipeline.
