And
finally…
September also sees CHARTDISC Vol 4 being
released into the musical wild thanks to the good people at
CHART - Christchurchmusic.org.nz. Raw, energetic and
rebellious, the bands represented here are the future of
guitar based goodness, as again Otautahi (Christchurch)
rises to the fore, illustrating its diversity as a city and
its ability to have a bloody good time. CHARTDISC Vol 4's
release honours RoundUp, the breeding ground for indie
guitar bands in Christchurch, so keep an eye out for the
free CD sampler during the competition, it will be available
at all good records stores and online at
Amplifier.co.nz.
