Why Waiheke? Questioned Is Answered

Business owners, event planners and social-club coordinators are getting help from one Waiheke business to pull off a memorable Christmas event this year. Waiheke Island Resort, which was recently taken over by new management and through an integrated partnership with Fullers is offering free ferry tickets for all conference bookings made at the resort before 31 October.

There is no limit on the number of tickets provided, and the resort can cater for up to 150 guests at any one time.

Waiheke Island Resort Conference Director Nique van Selm says, “As a Waiheke business, it’s our job to answer the question of ‘Why Waiheke?’ The island has unique appeal, and its accessibility and point of difference makes it an attractive option for people arranging functions and events. We felt that streamlining the process by offering free ferry tickets for all Waiheke Island Resort bookings made this month would make it that much easier for organizers to give staff or clients something beyond the everyday.”

Waiheke Island Resort has a full-service approach to event planning and can cater for formal affairs, casual gatherings, or themed and extravagant events.

At Waiheke Island Resort, event attendees have the option of spending the night after a function or hopping on a ferry back to the mainland.

To take advantage of the free ferry ticket offer, contact Waiheke Island Resort before 31st October, on 09 372 0046.
