Jack and the
Bean Sprout!
Operatunity is gearing up for its final 2010 national tour, presenting the hilarious Christmas pantomime; Jack and the Bean Sprout.
The award-winning group has produced its own version of this much-loved fairy tale with sets, costumes, some very dramatic moments, and the story receiving a special take on Jack and his exploits.
Starring all-time favourite singers Stuart Coats
and Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua with pianist Alex Wiltshire,
alongside Operatunity directors Susan Boland, John Cameron
and Geoffrey Hughes altogether for the first time this year.
Hughes, who has been busy writing the script, warns
audiences to be prepared for anything as it just might
happen.
“We have been told to issue a public health warning about this concert,” he says. “So here it is: Warning; content may cause uncontrollable fits of laughter”.
As well as enjoying hilarious skits, audiences can celebrate in Operatunity style singing along to all the best Christmas songs, and other well-known melodies with a twist.
The Jack and the Bean Sprout tour commencing in November concludes Operatunity’s 2010 series of daytime concerts which has toured nationally eight times this year to 23 venues.
Concert tickets are just $27 each and include lunch with the artists, with group and concession discounts available.
