Outrageous Fortune fans preparing to farewell the country’s most successful drama series tonight can now book their place in the show’s history with a chartered Outrageous Flight, accommodation in a SKYCITY Hotel westie-themed room and exclusive tickets to the launch of Auckland Museum’s Outrageous Fortune: The Exhibition.

Outrageous Fortune: The Exhibition, which opens at Auckland Museum on 15 December and runs until 1 May 2011, has been developed in partnership with the show’s creators production company South Pacific Pictures to give a behind-the-scenes look into the West family’s world.

The exhibition will allow visitors to step into the West family’s living room and features previously unreleased details on the show’s characters and how they were brought to life through the script and production process.

Outrageous Fortune fans and the uninitiated will also be able to view actor audition tapes, props and a brand new mini-episode filmed in 3D which will reveal a buried secret about one of show’s main characters.
