Support Sought a Trust Fund for Pike River Mine Families

25 November 2011

Parents Centres New Zealand Inc Seeking Support for a Trust Fund for Pike River Mine Families
Start
Following yesterday’s tragic conclusion at Pike River we immediately acted by setting up a bank account to receive donations for a trust fund. This fund will be used specifically to support those families who are expecting a baby or who have small children who have lost their father in this tragedy. Our focus is on providing support to these families with longevity, exceeding the duration of media attention. We are aiming to raise over $20,000 for the trust fund.

Donations can be made online.

Complete bank details for all donations is:
SWIFT Code - ASBBNZ2A
Address: ASB North City, Porirua Branch
Account number: 12 3142 0161284 01
Account name: Parents Centres NZ Inc – Pike River Donations

For further details go to our facebook page “Parents Centres New Zealand Inc” or our website www.parentscentre.org.nz

Thank you for helping us to spread this message in support of these young families who are suffering the devastating effects of this situation. While recognising we can do little to ease their pain perhaps we can all assist in easing any potential financial burden.
