Mystro Saves the Day With New E.P. Digmund Freud!

DIGMUND FREUD (digital only release in NZ & Aus) is the brain child of seasoned super host, one man army, TV broadcasting, punch line delivering, natural born spitting and home grown hip hop hero, MYSTRO.

Here to save the day and the minds of his peers MYSTRO returns to delve deep into his own psyche, pulling out eight tracks, which serve as a hip hop therapy session to those in need.

Having delivered the massively popular ‘2009 UK RAP UP’ in which MYSTRO ran through the years hottest topics, dropping verses about Susan Boyle, Michael Jackson, UK Funky and the over use of the word PAAR (if you’ve not heard it head for Google IMMEDIATELY). Off the back of that was the single ‘Around My Way’ produced by DJ SWERVE [Kiss FM / Street Fighter riddim] released July 5th. The track is already garnering great radio support from some key stations including BBC 1XTRA, KISS, CHOICE and RINSE FM with the E.P set to hit just as hard.

Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, MYSTRO didn’t just appear out the blue yesterday, he’s done a few laps, some round the world! Having started rapping at the age of 13, after being inspired by the classic “Golden Era” of MC’s, he first made his mark building a reputation as one of UK hip hop’s brightest vocal talents while hosting and performing at a number of the biggest events of the time, including the iconic KUNG FU. He’s also collaborated with a who’s who of musical heavy weights, including BLACK TWANG, RODNEY P, TY, JUNIOR REID, MARK DE CLIVE LOWE, DANIEL MERRIWEATHER, THE NEXTMEN, DAWN PENN, MASTA ACE, YUNGUN and many more plus been involved in numerous musical projects in Australia and New Zealand and is currently hosting his own show on SPINETV.NET

Released on SELF DESTRUCT MUSIC, (the label responsible for producing and arranging the classic SKINNYMAN album ‘COUNCIL ESTATE OF MIND’ in conjunction with LOWLIFE RECORDS) and Mystro’s own independent label DON’T BIZZNIZZ the DIGMUND FREUD E.P features production from Self Destruct label owner DJ FLIP, DJ SWERVE and UK hip hop legend JEHST along with guest appearances from SKANDAL, STIG OF THE DUMP, RAMSON BADBONEZ, BABY SOL, SHARLENE HECTOR and CHEZELLE BINGHAM.
