Imagine reclining on a plush chaise lounge in an elegant European-inspired boudoir or relaxing at a stylish bar in Bruges overlooking the River Dijver.

Well you can leave your passport and suitcase at home as this European inspired elegance and refinement will come to life at the Stella Artois Auckland Cup Day at Ellerslie on Wednesday 9th March with two purpose-built photography sets.

Throughout the day race goers at the Stella Artois Auckland Cup Day will have a chance to have a professional photograph taken of themselves and their friends on the plush Boudoir set or the classic European Bar set.

The two beautiful bespoke sets have been especially designed and custom-built by Stella Artois for Auckland Cup Day and the attention to detail is second to none.

The luxurious Boudoir set is rich with texture with a sparkling chandelier diffusing an elegant light adding to the ambiance. The European Bar has refined wood detailing with touches of brass.

Once people step onto the set they will be in the hands of the professionals as each high-quality photo will be taken by photographer, former model and co-host of New Zealand’s Next Top Model Chris Sisarich who will be behind the lens.

“A great photograph is all about capturing a moment. It's a moment in time that can never be re-lived but will always be remembered. We're going to have two beautiful sets made for anyone and everyone to come and have their photo taken. Each set will have professional lighting that will be very flattering. It’s going to be a fun day,” says Sisarich.

And to make sure each frame is picture perfect, professional assistants will be on hand to ensure everyone looks their very best.

Adding to the atmosphere of the day will be the Stella Artois Légère Garden Party, which is a ticket holder only area positioned on the Newmarket Lawn.

A delicious selection of BBQ food will be available for purchase throughout the day at the Stella Artois Légère Garden Party along with ice-cold Stella Artois Légère. Each Stella Artois Légère Garden Party ticket includes Ellerslie racecourse admission, access to the Garden Party, racebook and access to tote facilities.

Stella Artois Brand Manager Dave Pearce says Stella Artois Auckland Cup Day is always an exciting day on the Stella Artois calendar.

“The Stella Artois photography sets will give people the chance to celebrate their unique style in a fun and social way. We are very excited to be able to gift people with a professional photograph as a keepsake of the day and have the involvement of Chris Sisarich in bringing to life the essence of Stella Artois,” says Pearce.

Each photo taken on the Stella Artois sets is free of charge.
