Shavees share their shotz and win!

Shavees share their shotz and win!

The Leukaemia & Blood Foundation (LBF), nzherald.co.nz and Farmers have teamed up to give Shavees an opportunity to share their Shave experience through an online photo competition.

Anyone who signs up to the LBF Shave website and shaves will be eligible to submit their favourite photo for a chance to win prizes!

The competition, which runs 4-10 April, calls for photo entries from Shave events from around the country with some great prizes up for grabs, including a Panasonic DMC-TZ10 Digital camera and Farmers’ gift vouchers. Go to nzherald.co.nz/promotions to enter.

Photo categories include:

* Best overall Shave: Strike a pose with your stylish new hairdo. Make sure you submit both a before and after shot.
* Best group Shave: how many shavees can you get together for this pic? The largest number of shavees wins.
* Most outrageous shave: Mohawk, mid-Shave designs, mid-Shave styling. Show us how creative you can be.

A judging panel, including Leigh Hart aka ‘That Guy’, NZ Listener’s chief photographer, David White and TV3’s Hilary Barry, will select the top 12 photos, which will then be posted on nzherald.co.nz and the voting for the top 3 winners will then go to the public.

Shaving is a bold but simple way of supporting those living with blood cancers such as leukaemia and lymphoma - many of whom lose their hair as a result of life-saving treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Make sure to sign up to Shave now! Any individual who raises $500 or more receives a Shave11 t-shirt designed by New Zealand’s hot street fashion label, Huffer; check out www.shaveforacure.co.nz.

The Leukaemia & Blood Foundation is the national charity dedicated to supporting patients and their families living with blood cancers and related blood conditions.
