Three More Dates for Three Incredible Shows
The 2011 NZ International Comedy Festival Three
More Dates for Three Incredible Shows
You may have already found out that the first week of this year’s NZ International Comedy Festival has been an incredible success, with the opening weekend alone setting the pace for the Festival.
It comes with great
pride to announce that three shows at this
year’s Festival have added additional dates due to sheer
public demand!
Ben Hurley, star of
7Days and last year’s Vodafone New Zealand Music
Awards presenter has added an extra date; his
grunge-titled Do The Evolution (indeed, it is a Pearl
Jam reference) has an encore performance now on
Saturday 14th May, 5pm at The Classic, 321 Queen
Street.
The older and younger generation of new New Zealand comedians, John Carr and Tom Furniss, who have been immensely popular in this opening week of the Festival, have now added a 5:30pm date on the last day of their show, Saturday 7th May at Brooklyn Bar, 57 Lorne Street, CBD.
And two of the elder statesmen of New Zealand comedy “sit down” for your comedic pleasure. Jeremy Corbett and Paul Ego’s “Lay-Z-Men” add a 10:00pm performance to their season – taking place on the last day of their season in Auckland on Saturday 21st May, at The Herald Theatre, Aotea Centre, THE EDGE®
