Attention hungry hunters

Attention hungry hunters

Did you down a few ducks? Are you busy plucking pheasants? Let's hope so – we've heard some great Opening Weekend reports!

Now, what are you going to do with your birds?

Why not join thousands of successful Kiwi hunters and take part in the 2011 Gamebird Food Festival – back for it's sixth year, and bigger and better than ever.

It's a great way to celebrate your success. Take your friends and family with you and have a yarn about the hunt whilst dining in style!

So how does it work?

Just take your birds to a participating restaurant and have one of New Zealand's top chefs cook them for you and your friends. How easy is that?

Make sure you give them a call a couple of days in advance to discuss the menu, and then sit back and let the best in the business make you a meal to remember.

We have 26 fantastic restaurants from Whangarei to Invercargill already signed up for 2011, with more joining all the time. It's going to be an event to remember this year so get in early and let the real master chefs take you on a journey from field to feast.

Side Events

We've got heaps of side events this year. Here are a couple to get you started:
