Some memories
Last
year Erin Harrison walked away with the Supreme Award, a
crown on her young talented career. She started out
experimenting with full body painting at the 2009 Body Art
Awards and received special commendations from the jury in
the Special Effects Categories. Then, she won the Supreme
Award in her second year. Everything is possible!
We hope
to see her again this year as an artist for the Awards. You
can also sign up now by going to www.bodyartawards.co.nz.
Jinny is coming in February!
Her real name is
Genevieve Gagne, a international widely known name in the
Body Art industry.
Jinn y started body painting by
chance but succeeded quickly thanks to her artistic talent.
Her husband, owner of an entertainment company, asked her to
replace one face painter at the last minute. Without real
previous experience, she was recognized as a good painter
and she kept creating.
Nowadays she takes on body
painting jobs all around the world, being involved in Color
Mundo, a Canadian bodypainting show, and working as a chief
make-up artist for Cirque du Soleil. Morover she designed
her own make-up line for Mehron. However, what she enjoys
best is teaching her art. So, that’s why she is coming to
Takapuna to teach in February 2012.
