Knives at Noon Playing Re-Orientation

KNIVES AT NOON
PLAYING RE-ORIENTATION

Control 99.4FM is excited to announce Knives At Noon headlining Massey Palmerston North’s Re-Orientation on Saturday the 23rd July with special guests The Frisk (AUCK) and The Nerines (PN).

Knives at Noon is a four piece from Dunedin with a sound that refuses to be labelled, with synths, heavy guitars and dancey drums all thrown into the mix. The band released Glitter Guts EP (through Liberation) in 2010 and the boys are currently working on their debut album after honing their live sound in front of a huge crowd at this year’s Big Day Out. Keep your ears peeled for their new single New Lighter on Control FM in early July!

The Frisk is an indie five piece from Auckland whose sounds can is best described as “pop power potpourri”. They have opened for international acts such as Green Day as well as a handful of popular local acts in towns all across New Zealand. They have just released their latest single Cinema Smile.

Local Palmy band The Nerines call themselves “neo alternative cyber punk” so it is going to be an exciting line up!
