Dymocks Ponsonby Brings Poetry Alive in Three Lamps

Dymocks Ponsonby Brings Poetry Alive in Three Lamps

1.00 pm – 1.30 pm, Friday 22nd July 2011

Dymocks Ponsonby 344 Ponsonby Road, Auckland

Poetry is often ignored in all the hoopla around book awards for fiction. National Poetry Day is a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful words and feelings conveyed in our local poets works. In conjunction with Auckland University Press and National Poetry Day, Dymocks Ponsonby brings you National Poetry Day, a chance to share your love of poetry.

Come along on National Poetry Day Friday 22 July at 1.00pm and share poetry with

Ian Wedde, Murray Edmond, Sarah Broom

and guests as they read their own work and share the life and stories it represents. We would love to hear you as well.
