Pucker Up For A Winter Sports
Night
It’s getting a bit chilly on Hyundai Code with
a winter sports special this week headlined by two
international ice hockey superstars dropping in for a chat
in the lead up to the USA versus Canada fixtures in Auckland
this week.
The two team captains, Canadian Kyle
Quincey and American Rob Schremp, are joining the boys and
Jenny-May on the show this Thursday from 8.30pm. Their two
teams are about to face off in a three game international
series at Auckland’s Vectar Arena this week.
Keeping
with the winter wonderland theme, also on the Hyundai Code
couch this week is former New Zealand skier Simon Wi Rutene
and New Zealand women’s ice hockey player Casey Redman.
Karl Te Nana and Wairangi Koopu get up to some mischief in
Queenstown where they are checking out the winter
festival.
We are also announcing the winner of the
trip for two to Las Vegas, courtesy of Grab-a-seat, and
watch this week to find out how to be in for a chance to win
some Rip Curl mountain gear and ice hockey
merchandise.
Hamilton-based reggae band NRG Rising,
fronted by Sistah B (Benita Tahuri) and her two daughters
Honey and Anahera, will be singing some sweet rhythmic tunes
alongside hip hop dance crew AYDC, also from Waikato, who
are off to the world hip hop championships in Las Vegas next
week.
