“Wedding On Show is a great
opportunity to bring something light hearted and positive to
the people of Canterbury. The competition was originally
contrived as the ideal way for men to remember their
anniversary with Showday this year falling on the 11th of
the 11th 2011. What a great chance for couples to create a
long-lasting memory that includes the 60,000+ visitors we
usually see through the gates on a Friday” added
Canterbury A&P Show Event Director Rae Finlay.
In
conjunction with ‘Wedding On Show’, the Lifestyle &
Leisure Pavilion at this year’s Canterbury A&P Show will
include a special wedding section with exhibitors displaying
ideas and insipration to help Show visitors plan their own
special day.
The 2011 Canterbury A&P Show will be
held Wednesday 9 to Friday 11 November at Canterbury
Agricultural Park in Christchurch. It is the largest A&P
Show in the country attracting over 100,000 people, close to
7000 livestock and feature competition entries and 600 trade
exhibitors.
