THE HOLY ROLLER is the last pre-quake feature film shot in Christchurch and opens across the country this Thursday the 15th September on about 40 screens and counting.

The film recently screened to *sold out* sessions at the *New Zealand International Film Festival.*

Christchurch may of missed out on the RWC but they have their own film (shot entirely in Christchurch with all the cast and crew from Canterbury - Simon Barnett, Jason Gunn, Mark Hadlow who is now doing the Hobbit).
The film is independently made and is utilising grass roots marketing to compete with the bigger films out there! "Its a David vs Goliath in the battle to reach a audience, but we hope that the 100,000 tourists out here for the RWC will find some time between games to checkout our film and see what Christchurch once looked like" - Angus Benfield Producer/Writer
