Live intercontinental start to Mo-Hunt

Live intercontinental start to Mo-Hunt

The Great Auckland Mo-Hunt will start from Paris this Saturday. Mo-Hunt crew member, Te Rangi Ropata will be launching the Mo-Hunt from a special party in Paris.

Mr Ropata has worked tirelessly since arriving in France last week to organise a Mo-Hunt launch party in Paris, and with all test going well so far is set to kick off the Mo-Hunt live via video chat supplier Skype.

NZ based Mo-Hunt founder, Aaron McConchie, is excited about the possibility of bringing the Mo-Hunt to an international audience. Mr McConchie commented, "The time difference is an slight issue as the 12pm start of the hunt in NZ means we will be crossing to Te at 2am in Paris." Although the technical logistics have been worked through and are proving reliable, Mr McConchie went on to day, "Te is a super reliable guy but he has only had one weeks experience with the effects of european beverages, we hope that the party hasn't taken it's toll by the time we start."

In 2011 several members of the crew and teams will be followed by a film crew documenting what it means to be involved in Movember due to screen on The Box in De-mo-cember.

With the Mo-Hunt running from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday the 12th Movember from Sales St Bar, the organisers are not holding their breaths that the Paris Mo-Hunt party will still be raging or at least coherent enough to close out the Mo-Hunt.

The Mo-Hunt sends participants throughout the Auckland CBD on a quest for clues, and activities to claim points and qualify for prizes.
